ONCE UPON A DREAM is the theme song from Disney’s 1959 animated fairytale musical Sleeping Beauty. I was inspired to sing it after hearing Lana Del Rey’s version for Disney’s 2014 fantasy film Maleficent. I’d love to hear what you think! Composed for music theatre, FEELING GOOD was first performed on a UK stage in 1964. Many famous artists have since performed and recorded covers of the song, including Sammy Davis Jr., Traffic, Michale Buble, John Coltrane, George Michael and John Legend. KILLING ME SOFTLY WITH HIS SONG did not become a hit until Roberta Flack released her Grammy award winning version in 1973. The 1996 version by hip hop group Fugees was also a number 1 hit and Grammy award winner. I’d love to hear what you think of my rendition.

I’m so excited to share the music video for my Debut Single! I was inspired to write BETTER DAYS during the long months of lockdown in 2020 & 2021. Many of my friends were talking about how dark the future seemed and then I found out that teenagers all over the world were feeling the same way. My dream is that young people will once again look forward to a bright future filled with wonderful opportunities and possibilities. I want my song to spread a message of hope and a sense that BETTER DAYS lie ahead.

After singing WHAT THE WORLD NEEDS NOW at our local high school graduation, I knew it was time for another music video! There are many famous recordings of this popular and uplifting 1960s song. I couldn’t resist doing a cover of this song, which has been previously recorded by 3 of my favourite Divas. AT LAST was the title track on singer ETTA JAMES’ 1960 debut album. Her iconic recording was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1999. CELINE DION and BEYONCE also had chart successes with the song. Written by Canadian singer/songwriter Paul Anka, PUT YOUR HEAD ON MY SHOULDER was originally released in 1959.  My big brother, Robert Maxwell, recorded this music video on our family property.

DIDN’T MY LORD DELIVER DANIEL is an upbeat black spiritual that expresses the African American longing for freedom. I’ve loved this song ever since I first heard it at age 9.

CITY OF STARS was first performed by Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling in the 2016 movie La La Land. It went on to win several awards, including the Golden Globe Award and the Academy Award for Best Original Song. I absolutely love this song and I’m very happy to be sharing it with you. 💗
